Coming back to nature to heal ourselves - priceless.
Essential oils are as varied as the array of botanicals they are derived. Plants have so many natural healing properties. Botanicals are used to ease symptoms, heal, and shift consciousness. Essentially, they were the first form of medicine. We absolutely love natural solutions for our family wellness. Oils are used daily at our house from cleaning and cooking to boosting immunity, treating minor scrapes and altering mood.
I trust Young Living. They are family owned and has been around for over 20 years. Young Living has farms all over the world and are dedicated to cultivating the highest quality botanical medicine. They are the only company in the world that owns their own farms and distills many of their own oils, this translates into their Seed to Seal Guarantee. Their partner farms are exclusive and grown under the same conditions. The farms are even open to the public. You can see how they operate and even participate in harvest or distillation if you choose! A couple friends have actually visited and been truly amazed.
Every other company buys their product from third party growers. Young Living only uses 1st distillation oils so they are much more potent and provide more therapeutic benefits. Young Living meets all industry AFNOR and ISO standards and are subjected to isotopic ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) analysis, which determines whether a particular oil is naturally sourced or synthetic. In fact, only 2% of essential oils sold in North America are suitable for medicinal/therapeutic purposes. Young living makes 98% of them! More info at Seed to Seal.
Oils from typical health food stores are aroma-grade oils (not therapeutic grade) and may smell good, but they do not offer the same health benefits because most of them contain less than 5% pure essential oil. YL oils are 100% pure with nothing ever added, or taken away.
Each Young Living Premium Starter Kit comes with a set of 11 oils and a diffuser of your choice. The price of your kit depends on the diffuser you choose. This is an AMAZING collection of oils for family wellness. Purchasing a kit comes with a wholesale membership for you to use anytime you like, for 24% off retail pricing. HELP - Unsure how to use oils? No problem! Education and support for safe, effective and creative use is right at your fingertips! Join our private education group, The Wellness Academy, and learn from A-Z how to heal naturally. It is an incredible "oil village" that has recipes, tips, and DIY fun. SAFETY - In general, oils should be diluted. There are some exceptions. For the most part, oils should not be used for babies less than 6 months of age, with the exception of a diffuser in the general area of an infant, which is considered acceptable.
Many essential oils have expiration dates, YL oils do not. Properly stored 100% pure essential oils (excluding citrus) won't ever go bad and will last indefinitely. If an essential oil has an expiration date, it isn't pure or has been cut with a carrier oil which will eventually go rancid.
